Former Concertmaster of the Seattle Philharmonic Orchestra, Kristina Hallberg is committed to helping each student find their unique musical voice. She takes an individualized approach to teaching and welcomes students of any level, ages eight and older.

exploring your musical voice

All of us learn differently, each bringing unique strengths and weaknesses to the table. Taking these qualities into account helps each student thrive in their own special fashion – nourishing confidence, creativity, and patience along the way.

“She met my son (8 years old) where he was from previous lessons, and I’ve already seen great growth in the short time she’s been his new teacher!”

— Kimberly V.

Teacher and student playing violin

offering a flexible teaching style

I primarily take an individualized approach to teaching, incorporating a wide variety of learning tools in addition to Suzuki and Muller Rusch methods.

My focus is mainly classical, but I also teach folk, jazz, and alternative. I often integrate a mixture of these to lend enjoyment and flexibility to the overall process.

Music is a universal language, and I enjoy sharing this gift.
